I carved this out of a sheet of cherry wood, and hand inked and pulled a small edition of prints of it.  The magpie has a white Chine Collet (applied paper) breast, and there is a light dusting of gold leaf over the background.

The original of this piece once hung outside Portland, Oregon, Mayor Sam Adam's office for a while.
