The Mash and Grind Sheathbills

from $35.00

This is the Mash and Grind pair of sheathbills from Palmer Station, Antarctica.  They're a breeding pair of sheathbills who have built a nest under the room-sized trash compactor there, which is affectionately known as the Mash and Grind - so that's what I secretly named these two in my head.  They had an enormous nest under the compactor, fully decked out with pieces of debris they stole from around the station.  They were capable of hopping up while you were in the midst of feeding boxes into the compactor and ripping the shipping stickers off before you had a chance to react, scurrying under the building with their new treasure.
